Weekend of 11/21 thru 23

fun, helpful and energetic!
We got in some great riding this weekend. It was cold but everybody was prepared for that so we had sunny days totally
awsome riding. A heavy dusting of snow when we got there and an 1+ on some of the higher elevations. We had about 20
quads with us.
On Sat morning we hit the coal pits, hillclimbs, big wall berms, donuts in the snow, especially on the bridge (crazy kids)!
Headed for the mountains and got in some good chalenges. Hills, some steep, ravines, rocks and frozen water crossings,
NOT! A good test to start the day.
Back for some fuel, repairs and lunch!
Sat afternoon, head into another trail system. Found another play area spent most of the afternoon there some more
moderate trails and climbs. Thanks Greg for winching Cody out of the ice hole and almost Jourdan! Fun exploring with the
kids.
Sat night, BONFIRE!!! We ate, burned and prepared for the Sun ride. Well into the night!
Sun woke up to another inch of snow, kids were just freakin out over that! We headed out for another venture this time into
the wooded mountain trails. Had to move the 4x4's to the rear (crushing ice for little quads). Leading, I almost went
swimming, ice gave way (thanks for the laughs Ralph)! After that we had to reroute for the minis. Luckily our lone 50 got
through before the rest of the ice went. Kev, Shane and Kev were all able to power through the ice hole, unbelieveable!
DRR's were prepared that day. After riding along a cool ridge with neat views we plunged down a steep rocky pass into a
large ravine. Slowly guiding our group through, A few more obstacles and we hit the mother of climbs for the mini's. With
everyone pitching in we got everybody through it. The 2-3 inches of snow just added to our fun! After the ravine trail back to
camp.
Had lunch, fueled up and hit the coal pit trails to end up the day.
I hope everyone who came out had a great time! We did and it sounded like everyone had a great time. A little hecktic trying
to get everyone on the same page but, we managed and got in alot of great riding. We willl definitely be doing this again!
Maybe wait for more snow!
